Baby boy!

My sister Rebecca had a cute baby boy named Tristan. He was born 7LB and 6OZ he was born last week on Wednesday at 6:01pm he went home on Sunday with Rebecca and her boyfriend Jared. He is so cute and sort of chubby. He is a boy and when he was born sadly he couldn't breath so he went into this place were thay helped him to breath and luckly he has nothing wrong with him. I was so proud of him. When he came out he was blue and floppy but he is ok know! He is my neise that macks me an anty and i love him.

Buddy time.

Last week on Friday RoomsI and C had a buddy day. Chole lerisa and i are buddys we had lots of fun we had a mashmellow and sticks day . We had to build something out of these things me Chole and Lerisa builded a rocket. Evey one had the max of 20 mashmellows. Me and my buddys got that much and 1 extra. It was alot of FUN and meating our buddys was EXITING to.

Some people did not run because they had sore ankles and some had a broken foot because of what they done to their self. The year theer boys went first for cross country

Jump Jam

I'm here to talk to you about the all the new Jump Jam songs and when all this years and next years Jump Jam leaders are going to a special hall to learn all the Jump Jam songs on DVD 14.

On Monday our Jump Jam teacher Miss Groomebridge showed us a new Jump Jam DVD, it's number 14. We started to learn them, there is I gotta feeling, Boom boom pow, Fire, Choco-late, 500 miles and one song I can't quite remember.

On the 26th of October this years and next years Jump Jam leaders are going to a special hall to learn all the songs on the Jump Jam songs on the new DVD 14. I can't wait until the 26th of October. My friends that are coming as well also can notwait. It's going to be awesome!

Cross Country

Tomorrow on the 21st of October it is Cross Country also it is my Birthday on Cross Country. I am excited that Cross Country is Tomorrow.

Last year I got 1st at the School Cross Country, and I got 3rd at the Inter-School. Last year this person at the Inter-School got 1st his name was Jack and he was from Lyton Street School. Last year Jamie got 2nd at the Inter-school he comes from Manchester Street School, the same School as me and he is my Friend as well.

At the Inter-School Manchester Street School won because they got the most total points. Last year I think Lytton Street School got 2nd for the points, then North Street School, then St Johns got last.

It was my first year at the Inter-School because I was a year 4. This year I am going to probably make it into the Inter-School. My goal this year for the School Cross Country is to get 1st, and my goal for the Inter-School is to get 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

At the Inter-School last year repersenting Manchester Street School was Jamie, Layton, Thomas, Marco, Chris(a reserve) and I.

School Speeches

Every year our school has Speeches and the topic this year was in the future. My speech was about Manchester Street Schools future. This year I did a very good job with my speech, I must say that I did a lot better than last year. First what we had to was write our speech and around about Three weeks later we had to share it in front of the class and our teacher rated our speech out of 100. I got 89 out of 100 and thankfully I managed to get into the School Senior Team Speech Finals. The two best people from each class got to the finals so there were 6 people in the Senior team that got through.

World Of War Craft

I am going to talk to you about my World Of War Craft character. On World Of War Craft my character is a level 17 blood elf and she is a hunter. My persons name is Antiri and she is in the realm called Gundrak and because she is a hunter she can tame beasts. I decided to tame a Mist Bat and I called it Batty. He is also a level 17. On World Of War Craft my favourite place is the Ghost Lands because it looks enchanted. To be honest I am addicted to World Of War Craft. Mini Touch Rugby

On Thursday night I play rugby at Victoria Park on Thursday we have a Tournament for mini touch rugby we faced the St. Joseph Jaguars we lost 4 to nothing we got nothing . I got player of the day for the best dummy half. I'm really good at playing dummy half .

Cross Country

Every morning at school I do cross country training alone with the rest of the Middles and Senior classes. It is really fun I win most of the time. I hope I do good in the inter school. When we practice we run around the block 1 or 2 times. we have teachers on all the corners. My friend Jamie comes 2nd alot.on thursday we walked the cross country track it looks fun.

My Birthday

Brad's fantastic birthday hasn't been yet but it is next week. On my birthday next week it is the cross country and also we got touch rugby as well. I am in the Eagles. For my birthday we are going to the swimming pools. I am turning the fantastic ten. My birthday is on the twenty first of October. That is my story on my birthday next week on the Thursday the twenty first of October.

Christchurch

My Mum is moving to Christchurch on the 19th of October 2010. I am going to go to my mums every School Holiday. Mum has got tickets to go to Teletradings and I forgot the other one.

In the holidays.

In the holidays I went to my Aunty's house in the Sanson. It was a bit boring because there was nothing to do, but when I heard they had got Internet I went on it to see what I can do on it. After a few hours on it I went and watched T.V.

My Fantastic Holidays

Hi im Nelly,

In the Holidays I went to the South Island to stay with my Grandparents. I got to spend some time with my Cousins, Brent and Logan. I went to see Brent and Logan who live in Amberly one hour from Christchurch.

They had no damage from the Earthquake though. With Brent and Logan we went down to the gully and went to collect the crayons from yesterdays Holiday Party. They had a Holiday Party to celebrate their dad's Birthday and to Celebrate their friend Caelib's Birthday.

They had this game where before hand My Auntie Barbara went on the quad bike and hung up seven different coloured crayons whilst I helped blow up 100 balloons, Bake Chocolate Chip Biscuits and make these little cards with a circle of the coloured crayon that my Auntie had hung up in odd places around the Gully.

Once the party had started all the kids got to have a little card I made and had to locate the crayons and draw a little line with the crayons to prove that you found the colour. You also got these little bands on your arm and the other competitors could tag you and you have to give them your band or you could just run to the finish.

After I had visited my cousins I went to the Maruia and stayed there a few days then I went back to Blenhiem then went back on the Sounds air plane by myself again.

Our Production

On the second of September, Our senior team played a production, The title of the production was Tangaroa's gift. When we did our production I felt excited, there were sea creatures like dolphins, Starfish, Kina, Sharks, Stingrays, Seed weeds and a Paua. The production was all about him so Tangaroa gave him a gift, It made the sea creatures JEALOUS ! So they keep picking it, and the nice cote lay ed in peaces. So Tangaroa made the cote stronger.

Speeches

At our school we had two weeks to write a speech. I wrote mine on future pets, when I first presented my speech to the class I got the score of 62. The second time I got the score of 70, I got one of the highest scores but I didn't do my speech in front of the senior team. My class mates Ainslee Smithers and Anneke Lockart did, Ainslee and Haize Walker are going to represent our school at the lions contest.

Holidays

In the holidays I'm going to go on holiday to Raglan , Hamilton. Whakatane and then Rotorua . We are going to see my grandma and grandad in Raglan then my 3 cousins and Aunty and Uncle in Hamilton then my dads friend in Whakatane. After that going to my cousins in Rotorua . I so hope that we can go shopping at smiggle in hamilton and lots of other shops . My grandma is going to take me shopping some where she wont tell my where thought.

Netball Prize Giving

Hi im Nelly,
In the weekend the Netballers had Netball Prize Giving we all got a medal with a Blue strap a Red strap or a Blue and White strap. I got a Medal with the Blue and White strap. The most improved player and most consistant player got a trophy I got the most improved trophy from my team and Cheyenne got most consistant. At the Prize Giving we got our Netball Team photo and we also got lots of goddies like lollypops and little chocolate bars. Our team came 3rd in the C grade we were really happy!!!

Production

On September the 2nd the Senior and Middle team will be doing a Prodution based on the book Tangaroia's Gift. In this Prodution I am a Dolphin and the rest of the class are etheir a Dolphin like me or a Snapper. And some boys are Warriors. I hope you can make it and if you can I hope you will enjoy it just as much as I will.

Production

In the M.S.S. production I am a warrior. We have to learn three hakas. Being a worrior is fun the M.S.S. production is on the 2nd of September and most of my friends are in the haka group.

Mathematics

This term Room I is studying Geometry. I find geometry really really fun and interesting. At the moment Room I is learning about 3d shapes and angles. Next week is our last week of class learning before we swap over to our numarcy classes. Cant wait.

When we versed linton we played at linton army camp we won 35-10 I scored 2 tries wow. At the start of the game I tackled a person and the crowd went ooh!. My team is the feilding blues and in my team is Bailey, Jamie, Che, Me, David, Tony, Angus, Shi-Keil, Jack, Lucas, Luke, Thats the only people who I remember. We versed the feilding crusaders as well we won 25-5. We have also versed Kia toa Stormers it was a fine fine day the score was 55-5 we lose.

My holiday

My holiday was full of exsitement and joy. All I did was spend time with my brother and sister . It was great time . We went to Wellington for the day .We went to Tepapa we jumped into the earth quake house. For dinner we had Mc ds .

Lewe is well looken after with Hannah.C. witch is Me and Brylee. Everyday Brylee an I empty its food bowl and its water bowl. We also cange its bell if all the seeds on it are gone. I and Brylee wach its bell and cange its paper on the bottem so it can have frech paper to poo on. You are probably thinking were the seeds and water we sprinkil it on the garden and plants to help them grow. One time in class when Lewe had no food in call he got his beack and lifted up his food bowl and made a funny sound. But sadly Lewe has lived his life and gone to a better place. When our class found out we were very sad and buryed him in the school garden. We will always remember him:(

I think the holidays are really fun because my brother and I are going to take turns to go to the south island each holiday to see our family. We go on an Aeroplane and see my Grandparents. Did you know that Starfish have two stomachs. Starfish breath and smell thourgh things called breathing tubes. There are over 2000 speices of Starfish. Starfish live in oceans all over the world and also like to live in coral reefs and seabeds. Starfish have things things called suction cups that help them get around and stick to things. Last Friday we had enviro action day at Manchester Street School. First we had a look at how our buddy class was going. Then we went back to class and had to come up with a Maori legend for Makino Stream. Lights out

Earth hour is tomorrow but Manchester street school did it today at 9am to 10am because we all have no school tomorrow but remember on the 27-03-10 turn your lights off at 8.30 t0 9.30.

And at Mc Donalds when the lights go out at 8.30 to 9.30 on the 27-03-10 they are not closed because they are supporting earth hour SO TURN YOUR LIGHTS OUT.

And at M.S.S it was dark today because we are supporting Earth hour for tomorrow And good luck at home tomorrow and make sure the light's are out at home so you can support earth hour so good luck.

And at home look around your whole house to see if all the light's are out that means your supporting earth hour properly.

And if your parent's forget tell them LIGHT'S OUT because Earth hour.
